ACIM Rewind: Pain Pushes, Vision Pulls (Beckwith)-ACIM Lesson 36

My holiness envelops everything I see. [W-p1.36.4.1]

Yesterday was NOT the best of days. The cats woke me up at 3 in the morning. I spilled coffee on my shirt and had to change.

So I wasn’t feeling the idea that everything I see is so holy...Not even neutral.

But then there was the sunset….(see pic). Glorious. Radiant. Breathtaking.

Despite what I had seen all day, life reminded me there was more to the story.

I decided to look closer….The cats took a nap together for the second time ever (winning!). My toes feel warm and toasty. I had a walk this morning where my two awesome legs effortlessly led me past birds chirping and people cheerfully waving (despite the coffee stain on my shirt).

What was I choosing to see? Fear? Or holiness?

Lesson 36 asks us to choose again. To refrain from face value. And look deeper.

What will you choose to see today my dearest friends? Is the world really doom, gloom, and frustration?

Maybe.

But is there an equal (dare I say GREATER) number of sunsets, cute cats, and warm socks?

Our focus is our reality. And the holiness that is the Divine within can outshine even the darkest of coffee stains. I promise you this my friends.

See the Divine. Shine your light. And watch as the world transforms right before your very eyes.

Namaste Dear Ones.
