ACIM Rewind: Resurrecting the Living Truth-ACIM Lesson #107

Truth will correct all errors in my mind. [W-p1.107.1.1]

I had a bit of a meltdown this morning.

Yup, meltdowns are not just reserved for kidos.

Welcome to adulting.

The house is messy. The cats were growling and fighting all morning. I couldn’t seem to get a grip on any of my wildly dancing emotions. Then there was the guilt for even having these emotions. Given all of the things going on in the world.

I have had it! I said to Source. This shift is enough.

Then I open up ACIM. Truth will correct all errors in my mind.

Huh.

Hmmmmmmm….

Lesson 107 invites me to remember all of my perceived difficulties, doubts, and frustrations are really just me making up a story. A story of pain. Suffering. A misperception that my momentary grievances are the totality of the all-that-is. In contrast, truth is steady and constant. Never labeling or morphing into something else. Just anchored. Gentle. Sure of who we are even when we forget. Everything else is illusion.

The quiet and serenity of Source is waiting for me to find it beneath any errors in my thinking. It begins in my mind. With reexamining my beliefs.

How to start? Lesson 107 gives some very practical advice:

Step 1: Think of a time when you were peaceful.

Step 2: Touch into this feeling.

Step 3: Expand this feeling into your whole being.

Rinse & repeat.

Truth is waiting dear friends. The truth of who you are beneath the smoke and mirrors life plays on the TV screen of your mind. We are loved and safe. Steady and sure. Breathtakingly constant. This truth is waiting in the light. And success is guaranteed. You are not this body. These circumstances. Or even this life. You are more. You are the Divine love in the truth and peace of eternity.

Namaste Dear friends. Shine on!
