Baller Strength-ACIM Review 3: Lesson #111

Miracles are seen in light.

Have you ever looked at a baby?

I mean REALLY looked into a baby’s eyes? (fur babies included)

Those big doe eyes seem to contain wisdom and a wonder beyond time. And, in fact, a baby’s eyes, (unlike the rest of their bodies) are already at 75% of their adult size.

Result? Windows to the soul. Reminding us of any phenomenal life we are missing by focusing our own, smaller proportioned, peepers on what is in darkness. Inviting us to enjoy the beauty and light those babies know is right in front of us.

Miracles are seen in light, and light and strength are one.

Another interesting fact about babies is that their peepers are not only disproportionately large, they also mostly begin with perfect vision. Some studies indicate that by 6 months babies have both perfect vision and the ability to discern a full spectrum of colors.

As we age, this vision usually becomes distorted or weakens.

Huh. And so it is.

Our inner vision similarly can be left in darkness of our worldly concerns. We forget the light of truth that shines on our misperceptions. That we are born perfect. In strength. And that this strength is clear in the innocence of our seeing.

So today we get to remember what it is to see the world through the eyes of our inner child. To let Source’s clear vision of the world filter through any illusions we might have entertained about our inadequacies or the world’s darkness. And we can see with the miraculous eyes of love that have always been our strength, revealing our light.
