Just Like a Prayer-ACIM Lesson #183

I call upon God’s name and on my own.

Lately I have been reading a lot of Catherine Ponder. Specifically, her text on the Dynamic Laws of Prayer.

Ms. Ponder gives all kinds of phenomenal tips for engaging in prayer but the three basic steps I took from her process are:

1. Get Quiet

2. Let go

3. Affirm and thank God/Source for what is already yours

This process requires a certain level of trust. Trust in the connection to Source which gives you the confidence and authority to claim what is already yours to begin with. To accept that we are worthy. To believe that God/Universe is benevolent and full of love.

Lesson 183 asks us to invoke just this level of faith today to connect to our Divine truth. It asks that we call upon the Universe to invite the very Angels of Heaven to fulfill our heart’s desire.

To call out to the Source that is at one in you. And to watch the magic of your truest life unfold in all of its glorious magnificence.
